Assassin's Creed Shadows announces collaboration with Dead by Daylight: new quest to be released on 27 May

Ubisoft has officially confirmed the first large-scale collaboration for Assassin's Creed Shadows - a crossover with the popular co-op survival horror game Dead by Daylight. A special quest called Step into The Fog will be available on 27 May.

Here's What We Know

The official Assassin's Creed account published a mysterious teaser with the caption: "Step into The Fog. A new Dead by Daylight quest begins. Slip through the shadows. Survive the ordeal."

In the short video, the main characters of Shadows - Naoe and Yasuke - are sitting by the fire, and a mysterious figure is watching them. The details of the collaboration are still under wraps, but it is already known that it will be a themed quest with survival elements typical of Dead by Daylight.

It is not yet known whether this will be a temporary event or a full-fledged addition with new mechanics. Dead by Daylight already has extensive experience in conducting crossovers with popular franchises, and Assassin's Creed Shadows will be another striking example.

As a reminder, Assassin's Creed Shadows has become Ubisoft's most successful release in recent years: the game surpassed Odyssey and set new records.
