Galaxy S25 FE has been benchmarked with Exynos 2400e and 8 GB of RAM

Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S25 FE, and according to benchmark data, the smartphone will receive an Exynos 2400e processor and 8 GB of RAM. This confirms that the company has once again decided to abandon Snapdragon chips for the FE model.

Here's What We Know

The Exynos 2400e is a slightly downgraded version of the Exynos 2400 that is found in the Galaxy S24 and S24+ in most countries. The S25 FE repeats the approach of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE, which also came with a Samsung-designed chip.

This is unlikely to appeal to Snapdragon fans, as the flagship Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra use the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

We probably shouldn't expect a version with a Snapdragon chip. The rising cost of Qualcomm processors makes it difficult to use them in more affordable models. Even the S24 FE in the US came with Exynos, which used to be the exception.

However, there is a silver lining: The Galaxy S25 FE, like the S21 FE in its time, will receive a newer version of Android and One UI out of the box than other models in the series. Therefore, the latest OS update for Galaxy S25 FE will be Android 23, not Android 22.

Recently, insiders reported that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE may receive a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip due to problems with the Exynos 2400e.
