Samsung is preparing two new smartphones - Galaxy A17 (4G) and Galaxy M36. This is evidenced by recent leaks of information about their chips and specifications.

Here's What We Know

Galaxy A17 (4G) is listed in the Geekbench database under the model number SM-A175F. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which has two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz, as well as Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. This chip appeared on the market two years ago.

The new device is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.0.

The official release of the Galaxy A17 is expected at the end of the year, around October, just like last year's Galaxy A16 (4G). The Galaxy A17 is still being tested on One UI 7.0, although One UI 8 has already been announced, so it is possible that the phone will receive an updated version of the interface at launch.

As for the Galaxy M36, its model SM-M366B/DS was found in the Bluetooth SIG database and on the Samsung UAE website, which indicates an imminent launch. This smartphone will feature an Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB of RAM, and Android 15. It is likely to be based on the Galaxy A36, but with a slightly weaker chip made on Samsung Foundry's 5nm process, while the A36 uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 on a 4nm process.

Both devices are part of Samsung's mid-range price segment and should offer balanced performance for everyday use. We expect official announcements in the near future.
