Media: Red Dead Redemption II is definitely coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this year, and the PS5 and Xbox Series game will get a long-awaited non-extgenic update

A few months ago, it was rumoured that cult western Red Dead Redemption II would be among the games that would be ported to Nintendo Switch 2.

Neither Rockstar Games nor Nintendo have confirmed this information, but it has been updated with additional details.

Here's What We Know

Portals Gamereactor and Nintendúo with reference to their own.sources in Nintendo reported that during the last conversation with investors and partners representatives of Take-Two (parent company of Rockstar) confirmed that they plan to port several major games to Switch 2 and among them will definitely be RDR 2. And it will happen before the end of 2025.

In addition, it is reported that the developers will fulfil another long-standing desire of gamers, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, the sharp crime action game will receive the long-awaited nekstgen- update, which will allow you to run the game in higher resolution and at 60FPS.

It's all just rumours for now, but the release of Nintendo Switch 2 will be the biggest event in the gaming industry and it would be strange of Take-Two not to take advantage of such an opportunity to increase sales of a great game.
