Finally, there is a ray of hope for fans of physical editions of games who are going through hard times. With the decline in sales of disc versions, some publishers have begun to openly mock, releasing such "masterpieces" as DOOM: The Dark Ages, where the disc contains only 85 MB of data. However, Lost In Cult, which has long been known for its excellent collector's editions, decided to change the rules by announcing a new initiative to release physical games for PS5.

Here's What We Know

These games have been thoroughly tested by Does It Play to ensure that everything works properly from the moment the disc is inserted, without the need for an internet connection. Although the manufacturer, of course, cannot guarantee the absence of future patches or updates, you will receive the most up-to-date version of the game. The company carefully selects projects to ensure this quality.

Such publications will include the following items:

  • A booklet with essays and interviews with the developers
  • Poster and sticker
  • Four art cards
  • A card with a signature from the director
  • Variants of the game cover

The first two PS5 titles available for pre-order for $80 include Immortality and the comic British adventure game Thank Goodness You're Here. Another game, The Excavation of Hob's Barrow, is available for Nintendo Switch.

More information about these titles can be found at this link.
