DOOM: The Dark Ages attracted more than 3 million players in its first week, the best start in the series' history
A week after the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages, Bethesda has shared the first progress of the brutal shooter.
Here's What We Know
The publisher reported that the new part of the legendary series was familiarised with more than 3 million players, which is seven times more than it was for the same period for DOOM Eternal.
Thus, The Dark Ages demonstrated the most successful start in the history of the franchise, but it should be noted that the novelty from the first day is available in the Game Pass service, so the number of players is not equal to the number of copies sold. And this indicator is not disclosed by the developers, but judging by the weak peak online in Steam, many gamers still prefer to play the game on a relatively cheap subscription.
DOOM: The Dark Ages is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Battle.net), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
