The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has put new domestic boats into service

The Ministry of Defence has officially approved several models of Ukrainian warships for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have already been tested in real conditions.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the new boats are capable of performing tasks in open sea conditions, as well as in hard-to-reach areas, including floodplains, river mouths, muddy or rocky waters.

They have a shallow draft, high payload and resistance to moderate seas, which allows them to be used in a wide range of tactical situations.

Depending on the mission, these platforms can be equipped with turrets, electronic warfare equipment, echo sounders, carriages, mobile fuel tanks and other specialised equipment. This versatility allows them to be effectively used in modern combat for reconnaissance, troop transfer, logistics, fire support and other tasks.

The boats were developed in Ukraine and adapted to the conditions of war, in particular for operations in the south of the country and in coastal areas. Their arrival in the army will increase the manoeuvrability and efficiency of units operating in difficult water conditions.
