Ubisoft is probably planning to return players to the world of Pandora through the release of the Director's Cut version of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. There is no official confirmation yet, but this is hinted at by the well-known insider Tom Henderson on social media.

Here's What We Know

The expanded edition is rumoured to include all released DLC, including the large-scale add-ons The Sky Breaker and Secrets of the Spire. New story or game elements are also expected, as well as technical improvements, such as graphical updates or additional performance modes. The original game was released back in December 2023 and received several significant updates, including a 40 FPS mode for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

The game takes place about eight years before the events of the first Avatar film and focuses on five children of the Na'vi people, including the player as Sarentu. After an unsuccessful training programme led by Dr Alma Cortez and John Mercer, they decide to run away, which sets off a chain of dramatic events.
