Apple has recognised two more iPhone models as vintage.

Here's What We Know

The company has updated its list of vintage and obsolete devices, and while the number of the latter has not changed, the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 have joined the vintage gadgets.

The iPhone 7 Plus was released in 2016 and was the first iPhone with dual cameras and along with the base iPhone 7 was the first model without a 3.5mm jack.

The iPhone 8 was released in 2017 and only the 64GB and 256GB versions made it to the vintage list (the 128GB model was on sale longer).

Recall, Apple considers gadgets vintage when more than five have passed since their sales ceased. The company repairs such devices only when parts are available.

Seven years after withdrawal from sales, Apple considers the devices obsolete and does not provide service.
