One UI 7 on Galaxy Tab A9+: Android 15 is now available for budget users
Samsung continues to roll out One UI 7 based on Android 15, and now the update is available for Galaxy Tab A9+ users in India.
Here's What We Know
This is the second major OS update for the budget tablet after its launch in South Korea a few days ago.
The firmware is version X210XXU6DYE1 and weighs approximately 2.5 GB. Despite the system update, it's still based on the March 2025 security patch, not the May one.
How To Switch It On
To check for the update, go to Settings, Software Update, Download and Install. After downloading, the tablet will restart and you will be able to use the new One UI 7.0 interface.

Users will find an updated interface with smoother animations and new icons, advanced widgets and settings. The Quick Settings panel has become more convenient and personalised, and notifications have a more modern look with rounded blocks and grouping of notifications from one app into a stack.
Other new features include a new style of widgets, an updated battery icon, large folders for the home screen, an improved camera design, and the Now Bar function for convenient viewing of active processes (timer, music, navigation) directly from the lock screen.
The Samsung Studio photo and video editor has been updated with more features, including collages and visual stories. The calendar and weather have also been updated, and it is now possible to group alarms and change their style.
