Samsung has introduced new washing machines with Bespoke AI technology, now available not only in front-loading models but also in vertical models. These machines offer smart laundry management, analysing fabric type and laundry weight to optimise water levels, wash intensity, rinse duration and even minimise noise depending on the floor covering.

The catalogue update has so far only happened in India and without marketing support. Samsung is likely to launch the improved washing machines in other countries soon, but in the meantime, here's a look at the main features.

Samsung with Bespoke AI is available in 8kg, 10kg, 12kg and 14kg models.

The technique supports a huge number of the latest technologies, among which are the following:

• AI Wash - improves fabric care by 25%;
• Eco Bubble - ensures gentle washing;
• Hygiene Steam - eliminates 99.9% of bacteria;
• Super Speed - completes the cycle in just 29 minutes;
• Stain Wash - removes stains at 40°C;
• AI Energy Mode - reduces energy consumption by 20% with tracking via SmartThings;
• AI VRT+ - reduces noise by adapting to floor type.

The appliances support voice control via Samsung's in-built Bixby assistant.

The washing machines feature an inverter motor with a 20-year warranty.

Samsung offers four stylish colours: Black Caviar, Lavender Gray, Deep Charcoal and Brushed Navy. The price tag starts from $300 (in terms of rupees).
