Free psychological horror Silent Hill: The Short Message from Konami and HexaDrive studio was released in February 2024 only on PS5. Not all gamers appreciated and understood the new game of the famous franchise, which has little in common with its predecessors, but nevertheless it continues to enjoy popularity, which is confirmed by the message from the developers.

Of course, the fact that the game is free to play doesn't allow us to judge its success objectively, but it has the right social message and if it has helped some young people recognise the problems, that's a win.

Silent Hill: The Short Message is set in modern Germany. Anita finds herself in the apartment complex The Vill, where she comes in search of her friend Maya. Anita discovers that the building is abandoned and a creepy creature roams its corridors.
