Authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman repeatedly reported that the firmware iOS 19 will significantly change the design and interface of Apple's mobile operating system.

Big changes await macOS users, but now it has become known that the corporation's plans extend even further.

Here's What We Know

In a new issue of Power On's weekly news digest, Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is preparing a global redesign of all its operating systems, including tvOS and watchOS.

The US tech giant wants its entire ecosystem to have a unified, modern look and resonate with iOS 19.

The redesign will go further and affect all of Apple's operating systems. This means tvOS and watchOS will be redesigned to match [iOS 19 and macOS 16], while visionOS will get some tweaks - where the changes make sense for the headset.

Gurman emphasises, iOS 19 will offer a truly significant and comprehensive interface change that will surpass even the transition from iOS 6 to iOS 7 in 2013.

All the innovations are expected to be officially unveiled on 9 June at the WWDC 2025 conference.
