Italian atelier Zagato showed a unique car Bovensiepen Zagato at the "Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este", held on the shores of Lake Como. The project is based on the BMW M4 convertible, which was replaced by a soft folding roof with a rigid one.

Here's What We Know

The updated front end includes an elongated bonnet with a U-shaped air intake and gets rid of the huge "nostrils" of the radiator grille characteristic of the BMW M4. Almost all body panels are made of carbon fibre. At the rear there is a powerful diffuser, two twin exhaust pipes and titanium exhaust system Akrapovič, which is 40% lighter than the standard one. 20-inch forged discs are installed.

Despite the radical exterior changes, the interior is almost entirely retained from the original M4, including the controls. However, the cabin is finished in blue leatherette and alcantara, adding signature accents.

Under the bonnet is an upgraded 3.0-litre S58 biturbo engine developing 602bhp and 700Nm. That's more than the limited edition BMW 3.0 CSL (560 hp) and even more torque than the M4 CS. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.3 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 300 km/h. Transmission is exclusively automatic and all-wheel drive.

The transformation of a regular BMW M4 into a Bovensiepen Zagato takes more than 250 hours of manual work. Prices and circulation of the model will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2025, and the first deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
