The legendary Macintosh made an invaluable contribution to the development and popularisation of personal computers and those users who caught it in its time remember Apple's first PC with fondness.

The British shop 1-Bit Rainbow, which sells parts and accessories for old Apple computers, has a funny working copy of the Macintosh.

Here's What We Know

The mini Macintosh is only 2.4″ tall with a 2″ screen diagonal, the device is powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico and has enough power to emulate a Macintosh. Pico-mac-nano supports modern USB accessories, but still the creator warns that it is more of a cool souvenir than a functioning retro device and he does not guarantee its correct operation: "You do NOT pay for the 'product' - you pay for the components, materials and time spent on its production".

The cost of such a pocket Macintosh is £56, but the author has posted a full 3D printing blueprint on GitHub and anyone interested can assemble the device themselves.
