Your data is protected: Twopan Nano SSD flash drive with inbuilt fingerprint scanner introduced

Twopan has created a USB stick that guarantees the privacy of personal data.

Here's What We Know

Nano SSD, a 512GB miniature flash drive with a built-in fingerprint scanner, has started selling on the Kickstarter platform. The device remembers the fingerprints of up to twenty users and does not use third-party software. Maximum read and transfer speeds are up to 450MB/s.

Nano SSD is compatible with a wide range of gadgets - iPhone 15/16, MacBook, iPad, Android devices, PS5, Steam Deck and Canon and Sony cameras.

Connectivity is via USB-C 3.1. The iPhone Pro supports direct video recording to the drive in 4K resolution at 60 FPS in HEVC.

The Nano SSD case is made of aluminium and impact-resistant plastic and weighs just 5g. The flash drive can withstand drops of up to 10 metres and is IP65 water and dust resistant.

The Twopan Nano drive is priced at $99. The device is expected to be delivered in August 2025.
