Solidigm has released a record capacity SSD of 122.88TB

Solidigm (a subsidiary of South Korea's SK Hynix), has introduced the D5-P5336 SSD with a record capacity of 122.88TB. This drive is targeted at the enterprise sector, including artificial intelligence processing and machine learning.
Here's What We Know
The manufacturer stresses that this drive is an excellent choice for data centres, AI servers and other similar structures, and in addition to the huge capacity and high data transfer and read speeds, Solidigm SSD D5-P5336 will significantly save space, as instead of nine racks, this device will occupy only one, and 90% reduction in power consumption in data centres.

- interface: PCIe 4.0
- Form factor: U.2 (available now) and E1.L (expected later)
- memory type: 192-layer QLC NAND
- Endurance: 0.60 rewrites per day (134.3 petabytes over 5 years)
Performance:
- random read: up to 930,000 IOPS
- sequential read: up to 7.4 GB/sec.
The 122TB Solidigm SSD is priced at $12400.
