It's official: Death Stranding will not only get a film adaptation, but an anime as well

Fans of Hideo Kojima's work know that the game designer is working on a film adaptation of Death Stranding with A24, but the Japanese developer's love for cinema was so strong that he decided to adapt his game in one more way.

Kojima unexpectedly admitted that in addition to the film adaptation of Death Stranding, an animated film/series (it is not known exactly) based on this controversial, but incredibly unconventional author's game is also in production.

All that is known about the anime is that it will not be directly related to the film, but will be a standalone work.

Kojima took the opportunity to mention that he has high hopes for the Death Stranding film and being a huge fan of the film, he wants to offer the audience something completely unique.
