Redmi K80 Ultra price is officially confirmed - from $416 for a powerful smartphone

Redmi has officially revealed the estimated price of its new K80 Ultra smartphone. According to the brand's general manager, the novelty will appear on the Chinese market at a price in the range of 3000 yuan, which is equivalent to about $416 or €367.

This is significantly lower than the prices of other brands' flagships, but the smartphone itself will have premium features.

The smartphone will be an addition to the already presented Redmi K80 and K80 Pro models. The K80 Ultra will have a metal frame, which is rarely seen in mid-range devices, and, according to the CEO, will provide the best performance in its price segment.

According to previous leaks, the Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen. The smartphone is based on the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. The main camera is a triple camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor. The 7500 mAh battery will support 100W fast charging.

The case is also expected to be IP68 and IP69 protected. The official announcement of the model is likely to take place in June.

On 27 November 2024, Redmi officially unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Redmi K80 Pro. The model is equipped with a 6.67-inch 2K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness level of 3200 nits. For the convenience of users, the display supports Qingshan Eye Care 2.0 technology, which reduces eye strain.
