SOMA authors reminded of the release of the cult horror game on Nintendo Switch: the first trailer of the new version has been published
In January 2025, publisher Abylight and studio Frictional Games revealed that the acclaimed horror game SOMA would be coming to Nintendo Switch. Since then, there has been no news about the game and, finally, the developers have released a trailer of the port.

In the short video, the authors reminded that the events of SOMA unfold on an underwater scientific base inhabited by creepy robots.
In addition, the authors cited several quotes from reviews of authoritative publications, reviewers of which were delighted with SOMA and recommended to get acquainted with this game to all fans of science fiction thrillers and fans of story games. Indeed, SOMA is regularly cited in the tops as one of the most philosophical and profound games in the history of the industry.
SOMA is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam, EGS and GOG), as well as on current generation consoles via backwards compatibility. By the way, thanks to this technology, the game will also be able to run on Switch 2.
No release date for the Switch version of SOMA has been announced yet.
