Dyson has launched an improved version of its famous Cool bladeless fan

Dyson has released an updated version of its iconic Cool (2009) blade-less desk fan.

The new model is labelled CF1 and is not too different conceptually from the original version.

The manufacturer has added the ability to adjust the oscillation mode - available in 15, 40 and 70 degrees, and the number of rotation speeds has increased to 10.

Dyson has equipped the fan with an LCD screen that displays the selected modes. Another important feature of the Cool CF1 is the addition of a night mode, when activated, the fan runs quieter, the screen light is dimmed and a sleep timer will switch the unit off at a preset time.

The Dyson Cool CF1 consumes only 30W, making it energy efficient.

The fan is purely for cooling the air and does not clean the air.

The Dyson Cool CF1 is on sale now, so far only in the UK at a price of £250. Buyers can choose between white or silver body colour.
