Leaked: ambitious action-RPG Crimson Desert is coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Korean studio Pearl Abyss is finalising work on the ambitious action-RPG Crimson Desert and promises to release the game by the end of 2025. It is stated that the novelty from the creators of the popular MMORPG Black Desert will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but there was unofficial confirmation of its availability on another platform.

On the website of the largest retailer GameStop, attentive users have discovered that Crimson Desert is mentioned in the list of games for Nintendo Switch 2, the sale of which starts on 5 June.

The authors have not yet commented on this information, so it is still unknown what it is: a mistake or a premature leak. However, it should be noted that Crimson Desert is not characterised by high system requirements, for example, on PC at minimum settings the GTX 1060 graphics card and i5-8500 processor are specified, and at recommended settings the game will be launched with RTX 2080 level GPU. So porting the game to Switch 2 doesn't seem like a difficult task.
