Redmi Pad 2 is on sale before the announcement - from €199 for Wi-Fi version
The new Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 budget tablet may appear on the market as early as next month. Although the company has not yet officially announced the new product, some European online stores have already disclosed the estimated cost of 4G and Wi-Fi only models.
Here's What We Know
According to the available information, the basic version of Redmi Pad 2 with 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and no LTE will cost about €199 (approximately $225). The version with 4G, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at €299 ($339). However, the exact list of configurations is still unknown.
The tablet has an 11-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2.5K, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor, and is supplied by a 9000 mAh battery. For photos and videos, there are 5 MP front and 8 MP rear cameras. Fast charging with 18W is supported, but the charger will most likely not be included.
Xiaomi is likely to release the Redmi Pad 2 for the global market, just like the Redmi Pad Pro introduced last year. The official presentation is expected in the near future.
As a reminder, the popular Redmi Book 14 (2025) laptop is now available with AMD's Ryzen processors. The laptops have a 14″ Full HD display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB SSD.
