The government and the military presented 7 Ukrainian multi-rotor UAVs, which are already being used at the front as an alternative to Chinese Mavic.

Here's What We Know

The Ministry of Strategic Industries, together with the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, demonstrated Ukrainian multi-rotor reconnaissance drones. The event lasted three days and included flight tests in conditions of active electronic warfare, strong winds and rain.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister Anna Hvozdar, representatives of the command, UAV manufacturers and developers, as well as military personnel who use drones in combat. Seven domestic models were presented at the exhibition, which have already become part of the frontline routine and could potentially replace the Chinese DJI Mavic.

Anna Hvozdyar stressed that the goal is to create our own reliable solutions for the army. According to her, live feedback from the military will help improve drones, making them more efficient and adapted to the real needs of the frontline.

Colonel Semen Koleynik added that Ukraine is moving towards a full-fledged unmanned ecosystem: "from training to support, from combat practice to technical modernisation."

After the tests, the manufacturers agreed with the units to refine the UAVs, test them in combat and integrate them into the structures of the Defence Forces.

As a reminder, China has restricted sales of Mavic drones to Ukraine, but increased supplies to Russia
