Musk expands the X ecosystem: beta-testing of the new messenger XChat, which will become an analogue of Telegram, has started

Elon Musk continues to expand the capabilities of the social network X and launched the beta version of the new messenger XChat.

Here's What We Know

There is not much information about XChat yet, but from what is known, we can conclude that Musk plans to create an analogue of Telegram, offering users a convenient messenger with end-to-end encryption, advanced group messaging features, the ability to share files and send disappearing messages. Logging into the app is protected by a four-digit pin code.

Essentially, this is how Musk wants to improve the standards of private messaging in X by adding new features and strengthening security.

So far, only paid X subscription holders can take part in XChat testing, and not all of them.

It's unknown when the full launch of XChat will take place, as well as whether it will launch as a standalone app.
