Insider Dusk Golem, who often reveals Capcom's plans, said that he is "95% sure" that Resident Evil 9 will be announced at the upcoming show. Dusk Golem's reasoning for this is not only that the game has been rumoured for a long time and it's about time it was announced, but also that Capcom's activity both publicly and internally points to this.

Recall, Dusk Golem recently reported that Capcom almost made Resident Evil 9 an open-world multiplayer game, but in time came to its senses and cancelled this decision, keeping the concept of linear horror.
