Top before release: Stellar Blade demo already sells the game on PC better than most AAA projects can imagine
Even before its full release on PC, Stellar Blade has already gained a huge audience. The demo version of the hit action game has gained momentum so that a week before the release, it is already third in the global top sales on Steam. And it's no joke - only two giant franchises have beaten it: Counter-Strike 2 and the new chapter in Elden Ring (Nightreign).
Here's What We Know
At the time of writing, Stellar Blade has not yet been released on PC, but it has already attracted more attention than many full-fledged AAA releases. The game's demo, which was released in late May, received more than 3,100 user reviews on Steam - 91% of them positive.
Even more interestingly, more than 26,000 players played the demo simultaneously. For comparison, this is almost twice as many as the launch figures for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
This is not the first triumph of the project: earlier on PlayStation 5, the game has already shown good results and brought Shift Up to a new peak of popularity, and the studio is already working on a sequel, which is only possible with successful projects.
Stellar Blade will be released on PC on 12 June.
