In a world where the closure of game studios has become a sad routine, the story of Tango Gameworks is a ray of hope. After the unexpected closure of Microsoft and the subsequent rescue by KRAFTON, the developer of such hits as Hi-Fi Rush and The Evil Within has officially resumed its activities. The Japanese team has unveiled a new logo and website to mark the relaunch and is already actively recruiting new employees to work on the new action game.

Here's What We Know

Tango Gameworks has already opened an office in Tokyo and is currently in the early stages of creating a brand new action game, for which it is announcing vacancies in almost every department. "While we're not ready to reveal much yet, Tango Gameworks has a number of openings for early action game development!"

As for the studio's logo, it, along with the website, is meant to represent "what it feels like to create a game". Their vision "focuses on a studio that acts as a creative workshop, creating games and experiences that emphasise the 'handmade' feel that we put into our work."

Founded in 2010 under Zenimax Media, the studio is best known for the aforementioned Hi-Fi Rush and The Evil Within games, as well as the mystical open-world adventure Ghostwire: Tokyo.

This return of Tango Gameworks is a good example of how investment and faith in talent can give a second life to studios that seemed to have already said goodbye to the gaming world.
