Cupra Born has temporarily dropped in price by thousands of euros

The Cupra Born compact electric hatchback has been given a new €31,990 base version in the Netherlands. This is €3,000 cheaper than the previous entry-level model.

Here's What We Know

The previous entry-level 231bhp Essential Limited version with a 59kW⋅h battery for €34,990 remains in the line-up. But underneath there is a new Essential Limited with the same battery but a 204bhp motor. The range in the WLTP cycle remains at the level of 427 kilometres.

In terms of equipment, the new version is practically the same as the previous one: the equipment includes 19-inch discs, 12.9-inch screen, sports seats, wireless charging for smartphone, parktronics, heated seats and steering wheel, decorative interior lighting. Additionally, adaptive cruise control, normally only available on the Business Limited version, is included.

Only 100 copies of the new 204bhp version will be sold in the Netherlands.
