The fog is returning: Silent Hill f reveals release date and eerie gameplay at State of Play

Get ready to plunge into the maelstrom of psychological horror once again, because the fog of new Silent Hill f nightmares is very close. In the eerie new trailer presented at Sony's State of Play presentation, we learned the long-awaited release date: the game will be released on 25 September 2025.

Here's What We Know

In the extremely disturbing new trailer, we saw a more extended and dark look at what awaits us in Silent Hill f. We follow the main character, Hinako Shimizu, and her friends as they live a normal, peaceful life in Ebisugaoka, just before a mysterious fog envelops the city and makes everything really strange.

Eerie red flowers bloom. Hideous dolls begin to chase Hinako and try to tear her apart. Her friends don't seem to be doing too well either. There's blood, there's violence, there's a lot of paranormal, and Hinako proves surprisingly effective with a pipe.

Silent Hill f was first announced in 2022. It takes place in 1960s Japan and aims to combine horror with beauty in a story written by renowned Japanese writer Ryukishi07, known for his work on visual novels that often contain elements of horror and psychological drama.
