Ghost of Yotei teases fans and prepares a separate gameplay presentation next month
Get ready for... more waiting. The long-awaited Ghost of Yotei did appear at the last State of Play broadcast, but unfortunately, we didn't get a full review of the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive. Sony decided to use the tactic of "teasing players" before the real reveal.
Here's What We Know
The aforementioned trailer only gave a hint of another State of Play presentation, which will be dedicated to immersing yourself in the gameplay of Ghost of Yotei. It will take place sometime next month.
Still, Sony often dedicates a separate presentation to its big titles before the release, and Ghost of Yotei is still on schedule for its October 2 launch.
This broadcast should be really interesting as we haven't seen any full gameplay yet. All we know is that the protagonist Atsu will be able to wield several different weapons, and developer Sucker Punch hints at deeper combat and stealth mechanics. Given the success of Ghost of Tsushima, expectations for Ghost of Yotei are incredibly high, and fans are hoping for even more polished gameplay and a fascinating story.
The game will be released on 2 October on PlayStation 5.
