The classic fighting game returns: a unique Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection that will take you back to the 90s has been announced
Digital Eclipse studio, which is engaged in the re-release of classic games, announced a compilation from which real fans of Mortal Kombat will be delighted.
Here's What We Know
The company presented Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection - a unique collection, which will include all versions of the first eight parts of the legendary fighting game series, not only for home consoles, but also those that were released on arcade machines and failed portable versions.
The collection includes:
- Mortal Kombat - 1992 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear)
- Mortal Kombat II - 1993 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X)
- Mortal Kombat 3 - 1995 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis)
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - 1995 (Arcade, SNES)
- Mortal Kombat 4 - 1997 (Arcade)
- Mortal Kombat Advance - 2001 (Game Boy Advance)
- Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance - 2002 (Game Boy Advance)
- Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition - 2003 (Game Boy Advance)
In addition, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will include an interactive documentary featuring a history of the series' origins, rare concept art, archival footage and exclusive interviews with the original MK developers, including of course Ed Boon and John Tobias.
When We Can Expect It
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will release in 2025 on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.
