Huawei has started accepting pre-orders for its new Pura 80 series smartphones, which will be officially launched on 11 June in China. As part of its traditional strategy, the company is attracting customers' attention even before the official release.

Here's What We Know

Today, on 6 June, pre-orders for the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Pro+ models, which are two of the four expected devices in the line, are available on the VMall online store. As of now, they have collected more than 34 thousand orders.

The image in the promo shows the Pura 80 in bright red with a distinctive triangular camera unit and the XMAGE brand, which emphasises Huawei's focus on photo quality.

The series is expected to include four models: the basic Pura 80, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra. However, according to MyDrivers, the basic and Ultra versions may appear later, separately from the others.

According to leaks from Digital Chat Station, the Pura 80 Pro+ will have a 50MP triple camera with a large sensor and multispectral sensor, as well as a curved metal body and a fingerprint scanner on the side. All devices will run on HarmonyOS 5 out of the box - this is Huawei's first line of flagships with this OS, which is noted for its improved security, smoothness and integration into the ecosystem.

While many details remain a mystery, the launch is coming soon - just a week away from the official presentation.
