"It will be an unprecedented cooperation": French auto concern to open production of combat drones in Ukraine
More and more European countries are opening production facilities for military equipment and ammunition in Ukraine, and France is joining this trend.
Here's What We Know
French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu said that an unnamed major automobile manufacturer of his country will team up with a certain defence company (the name of which is kept secret) to organise the production of drones in Ukraine.
This will be a mutually beneficial co-operation, as the drones will be supplied not only to the Ukrainian armed forces, but also to the French army.
We are going to launch a completely unprecedented partnership, in which a large French automotive company - I will not mention its name - will join forces with a French defence SME to equip production lines in Ukraine for the production of drones.
Ukrainian military personnel will promptly share their opinions on the drones produced, so that the manufacturer can make important adjustments as soon as possible and make the drones even more effective.
This co-operation is especially important in light of the news about the dramatic increase in the production of Russian drones that fly over peaceful Ukrainian cities every day.
