Sandworms and ruthless raiders: Dune: Awakening release trailer showed all the dangers of the desert planet Arrakis

Funcom Studios took advantage of the Summer Game Fest stage and presented the audience with a spectacular release trailer of Dune: Awakening.

Here's What We Know

In the cinematic trailer, the authors showed what challenges gamers will face on the desert planet Arrakis, where every day turns into a struggle for existence.

The authors reminded that the ambitious survival simulator with MMO elements is released on the 10th of June, and the buyers of the premium edition have already got access to Dune: Awakening and leave excellent reviews about the game. Gamers praise the new game from Funcom studio for its graphics, interesting gameplay, excellent music, careful attitude to Frank Herbert's novels and Denis Villeneuve's films, absence of many artificial restrictions, atmospheric recreation of life on Arrakis and great variability in character development.

The events of Dune: Awakening unfold in an alternative timeline to Frank Herbert's books, where the most important character Paul Atreides was not born, and in his absence the story followed a completely different scenario.

The game is available only on PC(on Steam) from 10th June, and the release date for the console versions will be announced later.
