A full unveiling of Stranger Than Heaven, the notable game from the creators of Yakuza, has taken place
Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, the creators of the Yakuza/ Like a Dragon franchise, have revealed the official title of the mysterious action game that was announced at The Game Awards 2024 in December under the codename Project Century.
Here's What We Know
So, the game from the masters of crime drama is called Stranger Than Heaven and is shown in a new trailer. It shows that the directing and staging have reached a new level compared to other Ryu Ga Gotoku games, and the combat system is reminiscent of the early Yakuza games, which means that gamers can expect dynamic and brutal melee battles.
The trailer is structured in such a way that it seems as if the events of the game cover several decades in Japanese history at once, but it's not quite clear what unites the separate time periods.
When We Can Expect It
No release date or target platforms for Stranger Than Heaven have been given yet.
