"Welcome to the Family": atmospheric Mafia: The Old Country video showed off one of the game's key scenes

At the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, Hangar 13 studio presented the audience with an atmospheric cinematic video of Mafia: The Old Country.

Here's What We Know

After a brief story about the developers' striving for maximum realism and the use of advanced technologies, including Unreal Engine 5, the authors showed an important scene from the beginning of the game.

On the shown shots the main character Enzo Favara undergoes a solemn initiation and becomes a full member of Don Torrisi's mafia family (Torrisi Family). For this purpose the young man swears that the new brotherhood will be more important than the real family and he will be faithful to it to the end.

The video perfectly conveys the atmosphere of the crime drama in the setting of Sicily of the early XX century and leaves no doubt that Mafia: The Old Country will be a worthy continuation of the famous series.

When We Can Expect It

Mafia: The Old Country will be released on 8th August on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. Pre-order is already available on all platforms.
