Professional help: European Space Agency advises Dontnod in the development of the adventure game Aphelion

French studio Dontnod - the author of Life Is Strange, Vampyr and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden - announced its new project Aphelion, which is interesting because the European Space Agency (ESA) is involved in its development.

Here's What We Know

Aphelion is an adventure game in a sci-fi setting, in which players will take on the role of astronauts. They will leave a dying planet and travel to the mysterious Persephone, the ninth planet discovered at the edge of the solar system, to establish a new home for humanity there.

ESA officials are advising the developers on how to make the game more realistic in terms of space.

When We Can Expect It

Aphelion is scheduled for release in 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
