The recently announced ROG Xbox Ally portable console has already caused a stir. But what if we told you that the console can also run PlayStation games that have been released on PC? Yes, Xbox now has PlayStation games, but with a twist.

Here's What We Know

A Microsoft spokesperson told Game File: "Because these handhelds run on Windows, you have access to all the games you can play on a Windows PC." And that includes Sony's PC releases. So Sony's PC releases like Days Gone, The Last of Us, Spider-Man, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Helldivers 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and God of War Ragnarök will be available on the Xbox handheld.

As a reminder, during the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft announced ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. The Xbox Ally is described as a "basic portable device", while the Ally X is advertised as an "ultimatum" version of the portable console "designed for the most demanding players". Prices have not yet been announced.

The consoles will be filled with PC games owned by users from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net and other PC stores. These are Xbox-branded devices, and they feature a dedicated Xbox button and an overlay Game Bar that allows players to quickly switch between apps and games.
