Cult RPG Neverwinter Nights 2 will get a remaster and release on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo consoles for the first time
The rumour about the development of a remaster of the cult RPG Neverwinter Nights 2 has been fully confirmed and Aspyr Media studio made a full-fledged announcement.
Here's What We Know
As expected, the new edition is called Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition and will present in an improved form the famous RPG on the universe of the board game Dungeons Dragons.
The developers promise to keep all the features of the original Neverwinter Nights 2, but they will add high-resolution textures, slightly improved graphics, modernised camera controls and tweaked some mechanics, as well as added support for gamepads and Steam Workshop.
The Enhanced Edition includes all of the released add-ons: Mask of the Betrayer, Storm of Zehir and Mysteries of Westgate.
Importantly, Neverwinter Nights 2 will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles (1 and 2) for the first time outside of MS, and thanks to crossplay, users on all platforms will be able to join each other.
When We Can Expect It
Dungeons Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition will be released on 15 July.
Pre-order is open on all platforms.
