Macrumors reported that in the next major update, AppleTV users will be able to perform karaoke using ... their iPhone!

The Apple Music Sing option will allow the iPhone to be used as a microphone, with the singer's voice being amplified by the audio system of the TV to which the set-top box is connected. For more fun, the technology will allow you to connect multiple participants who can sing together, queue up their own songs and display emoji reactions.

The karaoke mode supports translating songs on Apple Music into multiple languages.
