After the recent release of the flagship OnePlus Pad 3, the company is rumoured to be working on a new gaming device.

Here's What We Know

According to Weibo insider Smart Pikachu, the upcoming tablet will feature a high-frequency screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz, a marked improvement over the brand's current flagship, the OnePlus 13, which supports 120Hz.

In addition to the tablet, OnePlus is also preparing a gaming smartphone with additional physical buttons on the sides that make gaming easier. They work like the buttons on a game controller, allowing you to quickly perform gaming actions without touching the screen. This smartphone will be part of the Ace 6 line and will be released later this year. At the moment, the highest refresh rate among OnePlus smartphones is 144 Hz in the Ace 5 Ultra model.

The company recently introduced the OnePlus Pad 3 with a 13.2-inch 144Hz IPS LCD display and Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The tablet is equipped with a 13 MP main camera, an 8 MP front camera, and a 12,140 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage costs $699.99.

OnePlus has not yet officially confirmed the development of a gaming tablet, so this information should be treated as a preliminary rumour.

OnePlus Pad 3 will have a special application that will allow you to quickly transfer files to Mac and Windows computers.

The tablet is already available in two colours at a price of:

  • €599 for the 12+256 GB version;
  • €699 for the 16+512 GB version.
