Insight: OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 launch scheduled for July 2025

According to new rumours, OnePlus is planning to launch Nord 5 and Nord CE5 smartphones on 8 July 2025. The information came from an insider on the X platform.

Here's What We Know

Nord 5 will be a direct successor to the Nord 4 model, which was released in mid-July last year. The Nord CE5 will replace the Nord CE4, which was introduced in April 2024.

According to previously published leaks, OnePlus Nord 5 will feature a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a built-in fingerprint sensor under the glass. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor.

The main camera will have a resolution of 50 megapixels and optical stabilisation (OIS), and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module will be added to it. The front camera is expected to be 16 megapixels. The battery capacity is 7,000 mAh with support for 100W fast wired charging.

The Nord 5 body will consist of a glass back panel and a plastic frame. The smartphone will have stereo speakers and an infrared transmitter.

As for the Nord CE5, it will have a 6.7-inch flat OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The main camera is 50 megapixels, the ultra-wide-angle camera is 8 megapixels, and the front camera is 16 megapixels. The battery capacity will be 7,100 mAh with 80W charging support.
