Perhaps the highlight of Summer Game Fest was the debut trailer for Resident Evil 9. The horror game was subtitled Requiem, and its details are limited by the fact that the game's events will unfold in the ruins of Raccoon City, and in the centre of the story will be Grace Ashcroft - a girl who was kidnapped by Baker family in Resident Evil 7, and now she is an FBI agent and must deal with the events.

It turned out that after Resident Evil Requiem announcement Capcom gave some journalists a chance to get acquainted with the demo and they will be able to publish their impressions on the 12th of June.

Here's What We Know

For some unknown reason, the XboxEra portal published a piece about Requiem before the embargo went down. Soon it was removed, but still thanks to the publication some details of the horror game became known.

So, besides Grace there will be one more central character in the game, which the article abstractly calls "fully charged hero". Earlier there were rumours that it will be Leon Kennedy, who perfectly fits this formulation, and fans will be glad to see him return.

The game will feature a first-person and third-person camera, probably the player will be able to switch at will.

In footage shown to journalists, Grace explores a creepy abandoned house, lighting up the space with a lighter. It is noteworthy that to restore health is used not the usual spray of green herbs, in a syringe with some kind of drug.
