Capcom's Street Fighter 6, which recently passed the 4.6 million all-time sales mark, has reached a new, even more remarkable milestone with over five million copies sold. Released in June 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC, the fast-paced fighting game continues to sell well.

Here's What We Know

Street Fighter 6 brings several new additions to the franchise formula. The Drive system adds a new flavour to the battles, while the World Tour mode offers a third-person storyline experience from the perspective of your own avatar, who can take on different fighters as their master. There's also a "Battle Hub" that serves as a virtual arcade room where players can fight online, either as their favourite characters or with avatars.

Street Fighter 6 has also been released for Nintendo Switch 2, including all previously released content and a new DLC fighter, Elena. This opens up the game to an even wider audience, allowing owners of the new Nintendo console to enjoy epic battles. Of course, the support doesn't stop there, as the Year 3 Character Pass was recently revealed. It will launch with Sagat this summer, followed by C. Viper in autumn, Alex in early spring 2026, and Ingrid in late spring 2026.
