Apple Music has a new feature in iOS 26 called AutoMix. This feature automatically adjusts the tempo and key of music to create a smooth transition from one song to the next.

Here's What We Know

AutoMix replaces the previously available Crossfade function and determines the optimal moment to change the track based on the analysis of the rhythm and key of the song. Currently, the feature is available in beta for developers, and the first feedback from users on social media notes its effectiveness and convenience.

An active Apple Music subscription is required to use AutoMix. The feature does not require the latest iPhone models and is not part of Apple's artificial intelligence systems.

In addition to AutoMix, Apple Music has new features for working with lyrics. You can now view translations of lyrics in other languages and use the correct pronunciation feature to help you sing foreign songs more accurately. In addition, users can pin their favourite playlists to the top of the list and quickly launch them through a new widget available on the home and locked screens.

The public beta of iOS 26 will be available in July, and the official release is expected in autumn along with the release of new iPhone models.

Apple has recently revealed a new glass-effect interface - now available on iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, iPad, CarPlay, tvOS, and visionOS. The new style is called Liquid Glass and is the first unified design for the entire Apple ecosystem.
