Classic in 4K and 60 FPS: 8 minutes of gameplay from Gears of War: Reloaded co-op mode on PS5 Pro

Gears of War: Reloaded multiplayer modes beta-testing is approaching and more and more materials about the updated shooter are appearing on the web. IGN portal shared a new video.

Here's What We Know

Journalists showed 8 minutes of Gears of War: Reloaded gameplay in co-operative mode for two players.

The dynamic match develops on the map Gold Rush, and the recording was conducted on PS5 Pro in 4K resolution at 60 FPS. The game runs very smoothly, and graphics and visual effects have received such improvements that the 2006 shooter almost looks on the level of modern games.

By the way, the release of Reloaded is an important event in the history of Gears of War, as the game will appear on PlayStation for the first time.

Recall, the following improvements are announced in the updated game:

  • 4K resolution;
  • 60 FPS in the story campaign;
  • 120 FPS in multiplayer mode;
  • support for HDR, Dolby Vision and 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos and 3D sound;
  • VRR technology support;
  • 4K assets and enhanced textures;
  • enhanced visual effects, shadows and reflections;
  • super resolution with improved anti-aliasing;
  • no loading screens during the story campaign;
  • cross-play and cross-progression on all platforms.

Testing of the updated 2006 shooter will take place in two stages and will be available to those who pre-order Gears of War: Reloaded, owners of the Ultiimate edition of the original (if the game was purchased before 5 May), as well as Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

When We Can Expect It

Gears of War: Reloaded will be released on 26 August.
