Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will deliver huge performance boost: insider reveals specs of Qualcomm's flagship chip

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has shared exclusive information about Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 mobile processor.

Here's What We Know

The successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, codenamed SM8850, will be built on the second-generation Oryon architecture and will offer a huge performance boost.

Digital Chat Station reported that the new chip in the processor part is 29% more efficient than the previous model in single-core mode and 12% in multi-core mode. The chipset will get powerful Adreno 840 integrated graphics and 16MB of GMEM cache.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 is expected to be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit in September.
