Huawei has unveiled a new colour for its FreeBuds 6 wireless headphones - a sophisticated Rose Gold. For now, this version is exclusively available in the Chinese market. In addition to the new colour, the company also announced a temporary price reduction for the model in China and Europe.

Here's What We Know

Initially, FreeBuds 6 appeared in three colours - Starry Black, Aurora Purple, and Sky White. Now a fourth colour has been added - Rose Gold, which looks like the popular Sand Gold in the Redmi Note 14 smartphone. The cost of the new product in China has been reduced from CNY 999 to CNY 949 (about $132 or €115), making it more affordable.

Huawei FreeBuds 6 are open Bluetooth 5.2 headphones with support for the high-quality LDAC codec and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. They are compatible not only with Huawei products but also with Android and iOS devices. The headphones are IP54-rated for dust and moisture protection, have two magnetic drivers, and active noise cancellation.

The battery life is up to 6 hours without ANC and 4.5 hours with noise cancellation enabled, and 36 and 27 hours with the case, respectively. Fast charging is supported: 5 minutes of charging gives up to 2.5 hours of operation.

In Europe, other colours of FreeBuds 6 are currently available at a discounted price of approximately €145, which is €14 cheaper than the starting price of €159.

Huawei has recently officially unveiled the Pura 80 line of flagship smartphones, with the Pura 80 Ultra as the main star. The Pura 80 Ultra is aimed at bloggers and high-quality shooting enthusiasts and features a unique periscope camera with two lenses: one with a 3.7x optical zoom and the other with a 9.4x optical zoom.
