A great reason to attend the show: at gamescom 2025 Capcom will unveil a public demo of Resident Evil Requiem

Millions of gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of Resident Evil Requiem and counting the days until its release (we counted for you - 259 days).

However, some lucky gamers will be among the first to try out the game.

Here's What We Know

We have already reported that Capcom will be attending gamescom 2025, which will be the biggest in terms of exhibitors. One of the games that will be definitely presented at the event in Cologne will be the ninth part of Resident Evil.

Everyone will be able to pass the demo version of the game, which means that the network will definitely have a lot of additional details about the horror.

So if you'll be in Germany from 20th to 24th of August - visit gamescom!

Resident Evil Requiem will centre on Grace Ashcroft, a girl who was kidnapped by the Baker family in Resident Evil 7, and now she's an FBI agent who has to figure out what's going on. Players will return to Raccoon City, which was left only in ruins, and even visit the famous police station, where the events of Resident Evil 2 unfolded. It is known that there will be one more central character in the game, probably it will be Leon Kennedy.

When We Can Expect It

Resident Evil Requiem will be released on 27 February 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
